欧冠买球盘口NATICK, MA. – Capira Technologies, LLC., is pleased to announce it has received two platinum awards in LibraryWorks’ 2020 annual Modern Library Awards for library software products; CapiraMobile and MuseumKey.
The Modern Library Awards were created to recognize the top products and services in the library industry in a truly unbiased format. Only customers with experience with the judged products and services in their facilities were permitted to judge the products and services, resulting in a truthfully honest unbiased score.
“These two awards truly validate our mission to help public libraries provide intuitive, easy to use technology outside of the library, expanding the outreach of a library from mortar and brick institutions directly to the patrons mobile device, essentially everywhere in the world.” remarked Jessica Rathjen, Director of Marketing for Capira Technologies, LLC.
欧冠买球盘口The founders of Capira Technologies saw a need for a better mobile app solution for public libraries. Capira Technologies, LLC was soon established in 2012 and “CapiraMobile”, their take on a custom mobile library app was created simultaneously. CapiraMobile has been custom developed for 500+ public and academic libraries globally.
欧冠买球盘口CapiraMobile connects patrons with their personal library accounts, the library’s collection, event calendars, available e-resources and more with a fully customized interface, uniquely designed for each library. With CapiraMobile libraries can reinforce their role as a key social infrastructure element in their community by putting messaging about programs, events, classes and more in their patrons’ hands through push notifications. Libraries can also encourage superlative patron account behavior with in-app account notifications reminding them to take action about holds, overdues, card expiry and more.
欧冠买球盘口Within a few years of CapiraMobile making its way into the library market we began to hear a new need from public libraries for a solution for Museum Pass reservations. Many public libraries have begun to partner with local museums and attractions to provide free or discounted access through either a physical membership card, disposal voucher or printed admission ticket. Due to the nature of such an offering, this service requires a self-service reservation system for distribution based on date, as opposed to the “first come first service” model of hold placed in a traditional ILS. MuseumKey is a library service platform (LSP) designed to manage and circulate a collection of physical and printable venue passes, often known as museum passes. Security and reliability is one of our highest priorities, as MuseumKey was the first museum passes reservation system to offer SSL encryption.
